If you were fortunate enough as a kid to escape without a nickname, consider yourself blessed.

For most of us, we only prayed that if we got a knick name that it was positive.  Like “champion” or “rockstar”… not “Crusty Rusty”.

Through the years one of the disciples, Thomas, became known as “Doubting Thomas” due to his lack of faith. He was told Jesus was alive, and he said “I’ll believe it when I see it!”  So, he was going to need a big sign.

Then this happened.

“Eight days later the disciples were together again, and this time Thomas was with them. The doors were locked; but suddenly, as before, Jesus was standing among them. “Peace be with you,” he said. Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side. Don’t be faithless any longer. Believe!” “My Lord and my God!” Thomas exclaimed. Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”’ John 20:26-29

What I love about this is that Jesus comes to us with our doubt and says…. “Come, see for yourself.”

Whatever your doubts may be… Jesus can take it.

Whatever your questions might be… Jesus can handle it.

Whatever your fears might be… Jesus can relieve them.

So, bring him your doubts.  The resurrection answers everything and redeems everything.
