They’ve been called “the Be- Happy attitudes” and the “types of people Jesus hangs out with”… the beatitudes are the 8 statements Jesus makes as he kicks off his teaching and his public ministry.
And they are revolutionary.
What if he was serious? What if God really sits with the broken-hearted, encourages the meek, and even fills our spiritual longings? Could we actually be blessed when we feel we are at our worst?
