What should I read for my spiritual life?
I get asked this question so many times that it’s “time” for a super-short, but to the point, blog.
So, in no particular order:
Soul Keeping by John Ortberg.
The Ragamuffin Gospel by Brennan Manning.
Celebration of Discipline by Richard Foster.
The Practice of the Presence of God by Brother Lawrence.
Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis.
What’s So Amazing About Grace by Philip Yancey.
In the Name of Jesus by Henri Nouwen.
Living Prayer by Robert Benson.
Accidental Pharisee by Larry Osborne.
Each of these books is worth a careful, prayerful read.
What’s on your list?
And of course, THE BIBLE!!!
Thank you for the reading list. Going to definitely put these on my list to read!
“Praying the Names of God” and “Praying the Names if Jesus”by Ann Spangler
