It’s the most wonderful time of the year—again!
For many of us, this is such a wonderful time of memories, hot cider, caroling, Tim Allen movies and visiting family. But for others of us, this will be a very difficult time due to the loss of someone this past year, or maybe it’s the first Christmas since your divorce. Perhaps it’s just the tension of family, friends, and the mall; tis the season of brotherly shove!
I have an upcoming book coming out based on the timeless passage from the prophet Micah. What’s amazing is that even though Micah writes this passage 500 years before the first Christmas, it provides timeless truth for how we survive Christmas 2000 years after the birth of Jesus.
“Act Justly. Love Mercy. Walk Humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8
Whether you are grieving this year or dreading this season–this verse can help.
Perhaps you will go into this year full of joy and excitement and by the time December 25 rolls around you’ll be all out of Christmas cheer–this verse can help.
Sign up to my mailing list below and receive a phone lock screen and print out to put on your fridge, mirror, cubicle or someplace to remind you of these three simple things. These three simple things will help us all not just survive but thrive this Christmas season.
And don’t keep the joy to yourself share this post with 10 friends. Let’s spread the love this year, it may just come back to bless you.
Merry Christmas!

Hi Rusty and Real Life staff!
My husband and I moved to Florida 6 months ago and we continue to stream and watch Real Life services. We haven’t yet found a church that we love as much as Real Life. We like Florida a lot, but we REALLY miss Real Life church and I miss my Life Group!
