Wow! A podcast episode I thought I would never create, or if I did, it would be geared towards my retirement. After 20 years at Real Life Church, my family and I decided to answer a call and step into a new role at a new church. Talk about hard. One of the things that helped prepare me was the lessons learned on this podcast from others who made similar moves. We are blessed that God has called Pastor Rusty to Crossroads CC! However, knowing how hard it is for the RLC congregation to give you up is also hard and many may go through loss. This was how it was with Pastor Barry retiring for many of us. But as tou mentioned to the congregation, God has called you to Texas. My prayers to RLC and Crossroads as we both embark on new journeys in growing the kingdom of believer’s! All in Jesus name!
